German coach ecstatic after two victories

Stuttgart, Germany, June 6, 2010 - Raul Lozano praised his team following their second victory over Poland on Sunday in Stuttgart, Germany.

Poland captain Piotr Gruszka: “Compliments to Germany who played two very good matches. We are still not on the level to play in a consistent manner. We are looking forward to Katowice where we plan to counterbalance the results.

Poland coach Daniel Castellani: “Germany played at a very good level. I have to say I am more satisfied with my team than yesterday because our concentration was better as well as our technical-tactical game. One could also see that we are still lacking shape.”

German captain Björn Andrae: “Yesterday was already really surprising and it is even more difficult to repeat such a great performance. I am rather speechless to start the Preliminary Round with two victories.”

German coach Raúl Lozano: “I am for the second time really satisfied with my team’s performance. It is really difficult to play point by point with such a high concentration at this level. But our team is very keen on proving themselves with the best teams of the World. We are hoping to keep on playing this way in order to win some more matches.”
