Tampere, Finland, June 5, 2010 – Egypt secured a 3-2 (25-23, 24-26, 16-25, 25-20, 13-15) victory over Finland in their first match of the FIVB World League on Saturday as the tournament continued in Tampere, Finland.
Egyptian Ahmed Abdelhay topped the scores with 21 points while Antti Siltala with scored 14 points for Finland.

Both teams started strongly with solid and risky serves before the visitors clinched the first set.
Finland gained control in the second set and took advantage of Egypt’s mistakes to bring the game even.
Egypt took the lead once more in the third set before Finland ensured a tie-break set as they won the fourth.
However Egyptian captain Youssef Saleh scored the finally two points to see out the victory.
