China prepare to take on France at home

France are coming off the back of an impressive victory over 2009 FIVB World League runners-up Serbia and will be a handful for China
Wuhan, China, July 7, 2010 - China is set to encounter France in the final weekenf of the 2010 FIVB World League Intercontinental Round as the two Pool B sides clash this Friday at 4pm local time.

Although losing their previous two games against Italy, China improved both their technique and other areas of their game. Jinaan Zhou, coach of China, felt quite satisfied with the performance of his players. Only taking one day’s rest, the home side began regular practice and are hoping to welcome a home victory in their final two matches, as Zhou brought up in the press conference on Wednesday.

Though China has recorded one win over the French, the battle will still be tough as the visitors have showed their competitiveness in a thrilling clash with Serbia in July 4 where they won 3-2.

“We hope we can perform better in the following games and will spare great efforts to improve our organization to deal with strong attacks of China.” Phillipe Blain, coach of France said.
