One more hope for Serbia

Italy need just one point to qualify for the Final Round

Belgrade, Serbia, July 7, 2010 - Serbia have it all to play for as they prepare to face off against Italy with a thin chance of qualification for the Final Round of the 2010 FIVB World League.

Serbia's players know that they have a challenge ahead of them.

"This was a very difficult match, and we had a great opponent on the other side," Serbia's Dragan Stankovic said. "We want to qualify so badly, and I think we haven’t lost our chances, because there is a possibility of qualifying as the second best team. We have to put all of our efforts in order to do that, and I think the team will find strength to raise from the deads and win tomorrow."

However Italy are desperate to qualify.

"I think the team played very good today, we won an important match, but we still have to finish the job tomorrow," Italy's Matej Cernic said.
