Venezuela will try to stop Brazil

Brazil will try to complete a sweep of the hosts

Venezuela will seek to improve performance had in the previous game, and Brazil, for its part, will try to complete a sweep of the hosts, when both teams confronted again this Sunday at the Poliedro de Caracas.
The Brazilians reached 24 points on Friday, which ensured the first place of Pool D. Only Serbia, as the host, and Brazil have secured their positions in the Final Round of the tournament.
"We have been able to verify the work that we have been developing with the team for a month," said Venezuelan head coach Alexander Gutierrez after the first match.
He added that his players have a whole level for future events, such as their August 10-12 qualifying campaign on home soil for the Men's FIVB World Championship 2010.
Meanwhile, the captain of Brazil, Giba, thinks that the game this Sunday will be more disputed. "We have to play very concentrated as we did on Friday," he said.
After the second match, Venezuela travels next Tuesday to Belo Horizonte to dispute the other two meetings as a visitor to the Amazon team.
