Cairo, Egypt, July 3, 2010 - Despite the United States claiming a tough victory over Egypt the home side is ready to fight to get the points in the second match on Saturday at 5pm GMT.
Egyptian head coach Intonio Giacobbe worked hard to make his players more confident and concentrated in both reception and serve. Their opponents put them under pressure by powerful serve but if the African champions could improve their reception they will use the maximum from hitter Ahmed Salah. The Egyptian coach pointed out that he wants to improve the team performance and his goal is the coming World Championship in Italy.
"We are working to build a team for the World Championship’’ Giacobbe said.
The American coach also wants his players to improve their performance to compete with Russia over a ticket to the Final Round. "We improve our performance to go the Final Round and the World Championship. We need to play with emotion in our game’’ Alan Knipe said.
