Rubicone for Bulgaria, incredible audience expected

European and Bulgarian Volleyball superstar Matey Kaziyski (left) will be leading his team for a victory against the Netehrlands
Bulgaria are facing their Rubicone in this year's World League edition. Silvano Prandi's boys have to win two 'clean' victories against the visiting Dutch side this weekend to stay on track for the first place in Pool A.

Playing stronger, match after match, Bulgaria aim to win their Pool and go to the Final round in Argentina. The team is finding the face which everybody in Bulgaria is used to see. Captain Vladimir Nikolov is coming back after a shoulder injury which left him out against Korea. Middle blocker Hristo Tsvetanov is also in the team list, replacing Gotsev. This promises a great show for the visitors.

Speaking of fans, an incredible audience is expected in Varna's Palace of Culture and Sports. Five days before the games against the Netherlands all seats in the venue were sold out. This forced the principal of the Palace Simeon Varchev to push some extra tickets on sale just before the matches.

Over 6,000 people are expected to support Bulgaria's national team. The main VIP guest will be the President of √§Bulgaria Mr. Georgi Parvanov who is a huge Volleyball fan. He will attend both matches against the Netherlands. He will be joined by the Sports Minister, Varna-born Svilen Neykov, and many more VIPs from the government.

The Netherlands are also ready for the battle though they can't pretend for a qualification anymore. However Peter Blange is pushing his team to be on top this weekend. With a surprising away victory over Brazil, the Dutch side would like to repeat such performance, flushing down all Bulgarian chances.
