France ring in changes for Italy clash

Hubert Henno and Guillaume Samica in receive during last weekend's match against China
Paris, France, June 23, 2010 - France and Italy began training in Paris ahead of their two matches in the 2010 FIVB World League on Wednesday with both looking to get ahead in Pool B.

Italy beat Serbia last Sunday and reinforced their second position, just one point behind Serbia, the pool leaders.

France finished last weekend in La Réunion very upset. After beating China 3-0 in the first match, the Chinese took their revenge with a 3-1 win to pick up their first victory in the competition.

French coach Philippe Blain has made two changes to the team with libero Jean-François Exiga and setter Yannick Bazin being called up.

”Before the start of the FIVB World League, I told that we would have some changes,” Blain explained.

The first match between France and Italy is scheduled for Friday at 8.30pm local time in Paris with the second match on Sunday at 6.00pm.
