Finnish captain wants fewer mistakes

Finland tries to find the ways to stop USA on Saturday

Tampere, Finland, June 11, 2010 – Finland will try to come back after their opening weekend loss against USA when the two teams battle again on Saturday in Tampere.

"Tomorrow we will try again," Finnish captain Jukka Lehtonen said. "We must get rid of the mistakes. In the first match when we made a mistake it often followed several others in a row."

Finnish coach Mauro Berruto was not satisfied that USA took a better start in every set.

"I will tell my team that we must play the starting of the sets better than on Friday. We must set short targets in the sets and then play set by set," he said.

USA coach Alan Knipe was quite satisfied with the first match, but wants an even better performance on Saturday.

"Both teams are still growing right now," he said. "I am sure that both teams play better tomorrow. We would like to keep the team's consistency on better level."
