Korea aim for one win over Bulgaria

Moon, Sung-Min (blue shirt) will be crucial for Korea as they face Bulgaria this weekend
Incheon, Korea, June 10, 2010 – Korea will be looking to put last weekend’s two defeats to the Netherlands behind them as they face off against Bulgaria at home in Incheon in their Pool A FIVB World League match this Saturday at 5am GMT.

The side went down twice in straight sets at home and will be wary of how close Bulgaria pushed defending champions Brazil in their opening match last week.

The home side have targeted one win this weekend, despite Bulgaria winning 17 of the 20 matches the two sides have played together.

However Korea believe strong teamwork and home advantage could benefit the side.

“We know Bulgaria is one of the most powerful teams in the world.” Shin, Chi-Yong, Korea coach said. “And we also know they are superior to us. Even though, to win against Bulgaria is realistically hard, we will do our best and show great match.
