23 year-old wing receiver, born in Warsaw. He won the 2009 European Champion. He has also obtained successes in Beach Volleyball. In the year 2004 together with Michal Kubiak they won the gold medal at the European Championships U18 in Myslowice, Poland. One month later, they clinched the silver medal during the World Championships in Termoli, Italy. He has been chosen for the first time to play in the Polish National Team in 2007 by Raul Lozano. Zbigniew was given Polish Volleyball League Award for the Debut of the Year 2008. Despite his young age, he has played for many clubs around Europe – Polish, Italian (Verona and currently Taranto), Turkish (Halkbank Ankara) and Russian (Gazprom Surgut).
