26 year-old wing receiver, born in Bydgoszcz. While playing in junior national team, he reached the position of captain and together with his team obtained the 2003 Junior World Championship title. His first performance in senior national team was in 2006, with Raul Lozano being the head coach. He is the leading player of the Polish National Team, world vice-champion in 2006. At the very end of August 2009 he terminated his contract with Itas Diatec Trentino Volley club with which he won the 2009 Champions’ League and the 2008 Italian Championship, and signed a three-year contract with Polish Champion – PGE Skra Belchatow. Soon afterwards, he and his new team won the bronze medal at the 2010 Champions’ League. On the 13th of May 2006 Michal got married to Dagmara. On the 28th of November 2006 (during the World Championships in Japan) their son Olivier was born.
