Profile
Christian Dünnes has only competed in six international matches for Germany due to a knee injury which almost saw the 2.07 m tall player quit the sport. Fortunately, after a long recovery, he is playing again and has won the European Cup in 2006 and the Italian Championship in 2009 with his club Piacenza/ITA. Since 2009, Dünnes has played as opposite spiker for Evivo Düren and is in outstanding form. Unfortunately, at the German Final Cup, his 35 points were not sufficient to win the game.
