In 2003, Bruno Rezende went to Unisul (SC), and two years later joined the Junior national team, with which he got a second place at the FIVB World Junior Championship in 2005. In the same season, he was champion at Liga Nacional, the Brazilian Championship B, and won the Superliga 05/06, the Brazilian Championship. He was the best setter of this competition. In the following season, he was second placed in Superliga playing for Cimed (SC), his current team, and one more time was elected best setter. In 2007, he participated in the FIVB World League, when Brazil won their seventh title, he was Pan-American Games Champion, second at the America’s Cup, and he also won the South American Championship and the FIVB World Cup. In 2008, he was runner-up at the Beijing Olympic Games and America’s Cup. Last season Bruno led the Brazilian team to a gold medal at the FIVB World League and FIVB World Grand Champions Cup.
