This Junior wing spiker has already shown enough qualities to start writing his own path in Volleyball, without being compelled to refer to his father’s great achievements. Conte led the Junior National Team to a first-time Bronze Medal at the 2009 FIVB World Championship in India, just a few weeks after playing the FIVB World League Final Six in Belgrade with the Senior Team. There, he finished fourth among the Best Scorers, performing even better than Mauricio Silva elected MVP for the tournament. He keeps following his father Hugo's steps in a certain way as the son is coached by his dad at the Italian club of Bologna.
