Serbia head coach Igor Kolakovic: “I’m satisfied with this second win this weekend. The first two sets were very special with many blocks in our favour. I would like to focus on the fourth set. My team had a very good reaction to conclude the match, it’s very interesting for the future in this FIVB World League 2009.”
French head coach Philippe Blain: “First of all I would like to congratulate Serbia. It’s a strong team. We lost too easily that’s why I’m upset tonight. To lose against a strong team, OK, but my players didn’t react and they need to change their mentality to be fighters. Loic Geiler is a good surprise, he had a good competition.”
French captain Oliver Kieffer: “We made too many mistakes and sometimes our tactics were not efficient against a team like Serbia. I can’t explain our finish in the fourth set…”
Serbia captain Nikola Gbric: "It was a carbon copy of the match played in Paris. We played very well the first two sets. In the third set, France played better and we lost our concentration. At 18-18 in the fourth set we showed our capacity to play at a high level. We came here to prepare for the Final Round, it's all positive."
