Castellani: We lost the match, but made another step forward.

Press conference

Brazilian Head Coach Bernardo Rezende:  I’d like to congratulate Daniel on assembling such a talented group of young players, especially Jakub Jarosz , Michal Ruciak and Bartosz Kurek. They made big progress and I’m sure they will be stars soon.

Brazilian Captain Giba: Today’s match was different from yesterday’s. Poland played a much better game.  We understand they are currently in the process of changes which will bring profits in the future.

Polish Head Coach Daniel Castellani: I agree with Giba that we played better than yesterday, but Brazil also played better. What made the difference was that Brazil handled the ball much better in all aspects – spikes, sets, reception. We improved our reception, but that still wasn’t enough to win this game. The main goal for this season is the WC Qualifications and European Championship and we’re still in the process of preparation for these events. Today we made another step forward.

Polish Captain Michal Bakiewicz: We played against a world class opponent today who didn’t give us any opportunities to win this game. We presented better form than yesterday, but still not good enough to beat Brazil.
