Finland coach Berruto happy with victory, not with performance

Finland head coach Mauro Berruto: "I am happy that we won although we were not at all on our own level. We made enormous number of free mistakes and we got not enough help from the bench. We had to overcome some problems including the injury of our captain Sammelvuo. I donĀ“t remember that I have ever played a fifth set this long (27-25)."

Finnish captain Tuomas Sammelvuo: "Game was very important and we would have liked to get all the three points. At some moments we had good control of the game, but I am sure we play better tomorrow."

Venezuelan head coach Jose A. Gutierrez: "I think it was a great match on a high level. I don't feel very happy now because of our mistakes, especially in reception. In the final set if you make many mistakes, you don't win."

Venezuelan captain Andy Rojas: "Very great match and very high level. In the last set we made very many mistakes in easy balls. At this level you must play well if you want to win. Tomorrow we like to win Finland here."
