Relaxed Finns find path to victory

Press conference

Venezuela captain Andy Rojas:  "Finland deserved to be the winner.  We committed many mistakes in serving, mostly in the first two sets.  So indicators of lack of physical endurance were visible in the last two sets.  It was evident the Finns studied our  systems thoroughly, resulting in favor of them.  We are at the beginning let us wait for the Polish."

Finland captain Jukka Lehtonen:  "We are very pleased to play here.  Different from the first match, the coach suggested not to pay much attention to the audience, and play relaxed in order to arrange ideas and systems of play.  We were very happy today and imposed our rhythm."

Venezuela head coach  Alexander Gutierrez: "Congratulations to my colleague head coach.  As we know for certain, our physical endurance was not at its best, which meant  we had to change so many players during the match.  We committed many involuntary mistakes in serving.  We know for certain that our team will be ready to play much better in the coming matches."

Finland head coach Mauro Berruto: "We are pleased with the Venezuelan public, I am happy and proud with the result. We improved in reception, serving and defense.  The players were in a different mood which helped them to score important points, and finally be the winners."
