Bulgaria pleased 6 000 running back 0:2 and winning 3:2 against Cuba

Mr. Wei whitnessed a great deal of volleyball in Varna
In front of more than 20 official guests and 6000 people in Varna's Palace of culture and Sports Bulgaria won against Cuba 3:2 (13:25, 23:25, 25:23, 26:24, 15:10). The president of FIVB Mr. Jizhong Wei, the head of state Mr. Georgi Parvanov, prime minister to be Mr. Boyko Borisov, head of State Agency of Sports Mrs. Vesela Lecheva, Mayor of Varna Mr. Kiril Yordanov and more official faces whitnessed the victory of Bulgaria. Pleasing the crowd both teams presented high class volleyball and kept the thriller till the end.
It started with not so much luck for Bulgaria. Athletic Cuban players pushed the hosts hard with strong serve and kill attacks. Young Leon and Michael Sanchez left no chances for Bulgarian team. Second set was different with Prandi's team running back but rising. Wokening of Matey Kaziyski and his power strikes pulled Vladimir Nikolov and those two gained a step through for Bulgaria. Low self esteam was replaced by incomming confidence which however was not enought to stop Cuban's power. At least not for that set. Cuba won it 25:23 but Bulgaria was on the truck. Seeing light in the tunnel and supported strongly by 6000 voices screaming in their support, greens stepped ahead and reached for the victory. Kaziyski was already unstoppable, and then setter Andrey Zhekov remebered - there are middle blockers Tsvetanov and Gaydarski. Now the team was different and looking more like the old Bulgaria. On the other side of the net Cubans were getting tired. However they kept it hard for hosts to win the forth set - 26:24. In the tie break it was Bulgaria after all - self confident and powerfull.
