Korea beats Serbia for the first time ever

Korea was in a jubilant mood after the end of match

Jeonju, Korea, June 21, 2009 - Korea recovered from their loss on Saturday by beating Serbia 3-0 the following day in Jeonju.

It was their first triumph ever over the mighty Serbians. Korea played consistently throughout with all members scoring almost evenly, whereas the Serbians struggled, especially due to unstable sets by their setters.

Moon Sung-Min (9 points) and Shin Young-Seok (11 points) were instrumental in Korea's win. Libero Yeo Oh-hyun recorded 6 digs.

Korea was also helped by a string of faults by Serbia.
