Serbia aspires for victory in Belgrade Pionir Hall

Serbia's Dragan Stankovic and Bojan Janic try to stop the attack of France's Antonin Rouzier

After a fantastic performance and victory in Nis, Serbia, Team France is wary of a stern reaction from the hosts during the second match of the opening weekend of the 2009 World League.

Pierre Pujol, French setter: "We played very well tonight as we came together two or three months ago. We played under a lot of pressure, but we are a new team with new players and we are growing together at every practice and every game, so if it's one or four points we play for experience and that is how we played tonight. When we prepare for the next match, we will focus on our concentration and playing a good game in Belgrade, as I am afraid it will not be such an easy match."

Milos Nikic, Serbian receiver: "I expect a completely different game in two days, as I am sure we all received the message from the French team, who played an excellent match tonight. We had our chances but didn't take them. We will, with the support of the Belgrade spectators, try for victory having analyzed all that we weren't able to perform tonight."
