Rotterdam, the Netherlands, June 13, 2009 - The Dutch and
American teams are looking forward to their second match on this FIVB World
League weekend in Ahoy Rotterdam.
The Dutch team took the first match from the Olympic
Champion and 2008 World League winners 3-0. The teams will meet in the FIVB
'Match of the Week' on Sunday, to be broadcast live in countries around the
world.
American captain David Lee said his team lacked
information on the Dutch team in the first match. "We have more
information for the second match which will benefit us. We will win
tomorrow," Lee said.
American opposite Evan Patak said: "Today we did not
play like we can. We will do everything to improve this tomorrow."
The Dutch team also expects a tougher match on Sunday.
"We expect that the American team will be better tomorrow because they
know our style of play now. We will see who will be the stronger team
tomorrow," said Dutch coach Peter Blangé.
