Russia secure final four ticket after beating France

France's head coach Philippe Blain watches his team perform their defensive acrobatics
France's captain Stephane Antiga: "I'm very disappointed, of course. We had the chance to win but the Russian team played very well tonight."

France's head coach Philippe Blain: "We had a very good match and I love my team because they played with all their hearts. We made some mistakes on high balls and it was a high-level Russian team that beat us tonight."

Russia's captain Konstantin Ushakov: "This match was extremely important for both teams, as the winner goes to the semi-finals. We tried to concentrate. We knew the real strength of the French team so we kept the pace very high, but it was a tough match for us."

Russia's head coach Zoran Gajic: "I have a lot of respect for the French team, who played a good game. Our team had to reach its goal the hard way. I am more satisfied with the win than with the game itself."
