Bulgaria in the semi-finals after a second convincing victory

The Bulgarian team celebrate

Serbia and Montenegro captain Nikola Grbic: "Bulgaria played very well. I'm not sure whether we can still make the final four if we beat France, but the most important thing is that we represented our country and our fans well."

Serbia and Montenegro head coach Ljubomir Travica: "Bulgaria were very strong in serving and receiving. That was the biggest difference between the two teams and the difference was above our expectations."

Bulgaria's captain Plamen Konstantinov: "It was an important match because the victory secured us a place in the final four. I'm very happy because we played as one unit and if we continue like that we could get to the final."

Bulgaria's head coach Martin Stoev: "This was a very important match for us and we had a very strong opponent. We kept focused throughout the match, especially in the last two sets, which is why we won. The most important thing is that we do not have strong individual players, but that the whole team is strong."
