One change for Argentina

June 15, 2005 – Following last weekend’s win and loss 3-2 (17-25, 23-25, 25-23, 30-28, 15-13) and 1-3 (21-25, 19-25, 25-19, 14-25) against Greece in round three of the 2005 World League Intercontinental Round, Argentina coach Fabian Armoa has made just one change to his team of 12 players.

Argentina travel to Belgrade on Wednesday for the first of two Pool C matches against last year’s bronze medallists Serbia & Montenegro with the left handed 24-year-old Santiago Darraidou replacing opposite Lucas Chavez.

Opposite players: Santiago Darraidou and Marcos Dominguez;
Middle players: Gustavo Porporatto, Pablo Peralta and Gabriel Arroyo;
Receiver players: Jeronimo Bidegain, Javier Filardi, Gaston Giani and Leandro Patti;
Líbero: Alexis Gonzalez

The first game between Serbia and Montenegro and Argentina is on Saturday at 18:10 GMT.
