Greece prepare to welcome Cuba
 May
18, 2005 – Following a 3-1 demolition job over
Argentina, Cuba will arrive in Greece on
Thursday for three friendly matches on Friday,
Saturday and Monday as both teams continue their
build up towards the 2005 World League, which
starts on May 27.
Greece open their World League campaign in Pool
C hosting last year’s bronze medallists Serbia
and Montenegro in the Peace and Friendship
Stadium on May 27-28 while Cuba, in Pool B,
travel to Bulgaria.

While Cuban coach Roberto Garcia will have a
full squad, Greek boss Konst. Charitonidis won’t
have all his players at his disposal with some
players still involved in club duty. |
