The NationaL head coach of Yugoslavia, Veselin Vukovic pointed out the importance of the first victory of the tournament. " For us it was essential to win like that. This victory gives us confidence and if we win tomorrow against Spain, we will be in semifinals".
The Yugoslav captain, Vladimir Grbic agreed with his coach and said that "this victory is very important for us because I think we played a great game".
