Born in Athens in 1953, Stellios Prosalikas became Greece's national team coach in January 2001. Prosalikas' main goal is obviously the Olympic tournament in Athens next year, but his squad already achieved several good results in the middle of the Olympic cycle. Under his command, the Greeks returned to the World League in 2001 for the first time since 1996 and finished ninth. They repeated this effort in 2002. Prosalikas' men performed even better at the World Championship in Argentina, where they caught some of their opponents on the hop and surprisingly finished seventh. A former player, Prosalikas was selected 44 times for the national team. In the course of the 1990s he coached several Greek clubs, including Panathinaikos, Nafpigia, Ionikos and AEK.

Nacido en Atenas en 1953, Stellios Prosalikas se convirtió en técnico del seleccionado nacional de Grecia en enero del 2001. Su objetivo principal es obviamente el torneo olímpico en Atenas 2004, pero su escuadra ya ha podido cosechar varios resultados positivos a mitad del ciclo olímpico. Bajo su mando, los griegos retornaron a la Liga Mundial en el 2001 por primera vez desde 1996, terminando novenos. Repitieron su esfuerzo en el 2002. Pero su máxima actuación fue durante el Campeonato Mundial en Argentina, donde superaron a algunos oponentes sorprendiendo con un sétimo lugar. Ex jugador, Prosalikas fue convocado en 44 ocasiones al equipo nacional. En el transcurso de los años noventa, dirigió a varios clubes griegos, incluyendo el Panathinaikos, Nafpigia, Ionikos y AEK.
