Born
in Havana, Cuba, and still a student, Roca has been
playing volleyball since 1985. His breakthrough in the
national team came a decade later and since then he
has played in 152 internationals.Standing just a shade under 2 m tall, Cuba’s
playmaker was part of his national team that placed a
disappointing fifth last year in the World League.
Roca likes fast movies, slow music and spicy Creole
food.
