Portugal started very well this match, the players were all confident by the victory yesterday, and with good blocking and attacks, specialy by Adriano Paço, the Portuguese Squad took the advantage from the beggining of the set. The Polish team made several mistakes on service. So it was no surprise that Portugal won this set by 25/22.
The Polish team was very good in the second set, attacking better, with Robert Szczerbaniuk in a great plan. Portugal could do nothing against this attacks because of the bad blocking. But Portugal, renoved their confidence, were stroger in the end and won this set by 25/23.
The third one started a bit like the last one, Poland played well and took the advantage from the beginning of this set. The Portuguese reception was not so good so Portugal lost this set by 17/25.
The fourth set was very balanced, both Teams played very good volleyball with the attacks being superior to the defences. Poland was superior in the end and won it by 25/22.
The last set was very even, with the Polish team being superior in the right moments and so they won this match.
