My players concentrated today: Manabe

Japan coach Masayoshi Manabe
Japan coach Masayoshi Manabe: Because we lost last night, we knew we have to win the last two games to get to the Final Round. The players were able to concentrate tonight and that's the reason why we were able to win.

(Re. Russia): I've haven't seen any Russian games, so I'll study them on video tonight.

Japan captain Erika Araki: After yesterday's loss, we got united and decided to fight as a team, but we made a lot of mistakes, so we need to improve and try our best in tomorrow's match.

Japan No. 16 Saori Sakoda: Since we lost the game last night I personally felt upset. Today was a really important game and we had to win. I'm satisfied with the result.

Korean coach Kim Hyung-Sil: Overall it wasn't a good game. I felt that the game against Japan was more psychological warfare. I thought we had prepared enough, especially on defence, but our strategy failed and we couldn't play our volleyball.

(Re. Serbia): There is a big difference between European and Asian volleyball so we will perform differently compared to today. We will put more effort on serve reception and play better than today.

Korea No. 10 Kim Yeon-Koung: I'm disappointed that we couldn't show our best today. We'll improve ourselves and try hard to go to the final round.
