Argentina knew how to beat us in the key points: Cuba captain

The official press conference after the match Argentina vs Cuba (3-2)
Cuba captain Yusidey Silie: “I would like to congratulate team Argentina, because they played really well tonight. I think in the key points they knew how to beat us. Now we just want to get ready for the next match.”

Argentina captain Emilce Sosa: “I am very happy because the team performed as we wanted and expected. I personally respect Cuba a lot as a team. Today, we played with a lot of passion and that's why we won.”

Cuba coach Juan Gala Rodriguez: “I think my team likes to play five sets. In crucial moments Argentina knew how to play better than us. Tomorrow we play against Poland, but we are used to play in front of big crowds and away from home, so we are prepared for the Polish spectators.”

Argentina coach Horacio Bastit: “We are really happy with this victory. We knew it was going to be very very hard. I agree with coach Rodriguez, we like playing five sets as well, we scored our first World Grand Prix points after a tiebreak. We are aware than if we want to win with a team that spikes and blocks better than us, we have to play as long as possible and win thanks to our stamina. I am really satisfied that my team can play equally against big, experienced teams. We don't feel like favorites at all. We know that to win we have to play very hard. We don't know what to expect tomorrow, since we rarely play against teams from outside of the Americas. I will take it as a great experience and I want to see what my team can do about the Asian volleyball.”
