Zielona Gora, Poland, August 14, 2011 – Korea beat Argentina in straight sets (25-22, 25-16 and 25-21) during the last day of the second weekend of 2011 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix in Zielona Gora, Poland on Sunday.
Korea's Yeon-Koung Kim was the best scorer with 17 points, while Emilce Sosa topped the scorers for Argentina with 11 points.

Before the match Korea was leading Pool E and Argentina was in the third place.
The first set was tight from its first ball, with a narrow advantage for Korea. They jumped ahead to 10-7, but the Argentineans tied the score at 12-12 with great play in defense and spike. The Asian side made very few mistakes and the score stayed close. After a long action full of spectacular digs, Korea gained a two-point-advantage at 20-18. Korea stayed in control and took the set 25-22.
The Asians carried their momentum through to set two and easily gained a five point lead. Argentina coach Horacio Bastit called a timeout, but Korea was still better in every element showing unbelievable digging skills. Argentina managed to edge closer for a moment at 8-6 but Korea jumped ahead again (11-7, then 14-9). The rest of the set was a display of Asian domination as they smoothly picked it up 25-16.
The beginning of set three was better for the Asian side, who quickly took the lead at 6-4. They extended their advantage to five points with Yeon-Koung Kim's ace but the Argentineans did not give up and went closer at 15-13 with four unanswered points. They levelled the score at 16-16, but the Koreans jumped ahead once again winning the set 25-21 and the match 3-0.
With the win Korea claimed first place in Pool E.
