Germany captain: 'I am very disappointed that we lost. I am sad, because I think that in the end we didn't show 100 per cent of our skills. Congratulations for the Dominicans, they played very good. I want to thank Polish spectators, they were amazing, and I hope we will be back here soon. I would love to play in Polish league, due to my family situation, and I hope I will get the chance some day.'

'German team is a great opponent. Before coming here we had couple of games with Germany, and I think that was the key to the victory, we knew their team. Our team started well and then finished well. Our errors were caused by Germany, who played very good. I want to thank Polish fans for the support.', said Dominican Republic captain.

'I think today Dominican Republic played much better than us. They deserved the victory, they played with a lot of courage. We played a little like Asian teams – defense, defense, defense, but we couldn't finish the action.', said Germany head coach.

Dominican Republic head coach: 'Well, I am very happy, because it is a big victory for us to defeat Germany. I am sure it was the best match of my team in this tournament. I have many young players, who have to keep working and improving, but it was a good battle.'
