Italy ready for the Grand Prix debut. Barbolini targets the finals |
|
|
 Verona, 1st August 2007 - In Verona, where Romeo and Juliet lived their passion, Italy will host the World Grand Prix with the home team coached by Massimo Barbolini facing Chinese Taipei, Netherlands and Brasil. Along with his assistant, former international Marco Bracci, Barbolini is preparing the team for the debut. “I am quite satisfied of the job the team made in the recent days. The weeks we spent in Alassio are part of the past. Now we have to play official games in order to show our potential. All the opponents we will face in the Grand Prix are very good. Even if Brazil is not in best shape, they will remain one of the favourites Netherlands is a team normally very hard to manage. You can add that you will face them in a particular moment with the orange team in an extraordinary physical condition. Then Taipei. Last year we beated them 3-0 at the world championship but in Verona we will find them at the debut. Certainly it won’t be an easy challenge. Our target is to reach the finals, step by step, match after match trying to improve our game. |
