FIVB World Grand Prix 2006
Press Conference
Russia beat Korea by 3:1

The Korean team during the post-match press conference

Captain: Korea did its best but we were better. I was not very happy what we did with the game today though we won the game at last. Yet, I am sure that the team will get better and better after match and match through 2006 world grand prix.

Head coach : Our team showed a little problems in attack and defense. We did well in 2nd set but not in 3rd set. We have a long way to go and need more experiences for young players. Our team will be better off in Beijing in 2008 and world championship as well if the team work hard to be the top of the world.

Captain: The team is getting better after each weeks matches. It would have been better if we had more time for practicing.

Head coach; I am not very happy with the result of the game. But, I saw

the possibility that my team has against Russia teams height and power. We

have some young players and theirs lack of experience made the teams

defense unstable. For tomorrows match against Japan, we have prepared

much. If we make up for defense and blocking and make less misses, we

would have chance to win the game.
