Ze Roberto praises Brazil's rhythm and concentration

Jose Roberto GUIMARAES (BRA Head Coach): We had strong concentration and played with a good rhythm. We scored nine points from serve and five from blocks, and our counter-attack was good. Overall it was a good beginning.

SOUZA, Helia (BRA Captain): I am satisfied with the result considering it was the first game. We did not let them play how they wanted to play, and that was the key to the victory.

KIM Myeong-Soo (KOR Head Coach): I was very disappointed with today’s game. The level of all the players should have been higher. We had an unstable service and weak defence. Our blocking was a bit better than I had expected, and that was one bright point.

KIM Sa-Nee (KOR Captain): We could not play the way we hoped. Since our team gathered young players this time, we need more experience to play well. We want to play better in the future.

BAE Yoo-Na: I was very nervous during the match. I feel sorry that I could not play as well as people had expected. I will try my best to play better in the next game.
