Macau in full preparation mode
April
7, 2005 – The Macau leg of the 2005 World Grand Prix
promises to be a enthralling contest with powerful
women's teams from China, Brazil, Germany and Poland
participating in the tournament, which starts on July 1.
The Macao contest authorized by the International
Federation of Volleyball (FIVB) and co-organized by the
Macao Sport Development Board and China Macao Volleyball
Association comes to Macao every other two years.
As the Athens Olympic gold medal winner, China will meet
their Brazilian counterparts, who are the defending
Grand Prix champions, in the final group match of the
preliminary round on July 3.
The winner from the Macao round will advance to the
final round of the World Grand Prix to be held in
Sendai, Japan on July 13.
