BRA won the match with their better performance over THA in 2002 Grand Prix in Macao
The new formed BRA team won again THA in the pool of Macao after their first victory in Japan. Despite of the hard work of THA team, due to the difference in height and power with BRA, the energetic Asian team failed to challenge the progressing young BRA team.

CHN defeated GER by means of their well-performed tactics
CHN could not fully concentrate at the beginning of the match, and at the same time the powerful GER team showed their high spirit to fight against the traditional strong volleyball team of the world. Obviously, the better organized tactics and various combination offence explained the victory of CHN on GER in this exciting match.

GER kept the chance to enter the final of the World Grand Prix 2002 after the victory over BRA
It was a very close exciting game, the tactics of both teams was quite similar and none of them could dominate the game entirely. GER looked well trained that they performed their tactics and offence quite stably. Nevertheless, the growing BRA young players also showed their talents to play in high-level tournaments.
