Excellent game, Germany
Germany beats Brazil with 3:1 and has come 3rd in the FIVB World Grand Prix Final, 2002. Germany did not perform well in the first set. They made many careless mistakes in attacking and blockings. Yet, their determination in winning the game has earned them the final victory. The climax of the game came in set 3, where Germany won the set by 28:26. Player number 17 of Germany, Thumm, has helped assisting attacks throughout the match. Besides, her quick attacks were remarkable. In addition, player number 15, Gruen, has incredible performance in all areas, including receiving, blocking and attacking. Her effort has been an essential element in the team's success.
Though Brazil came fourth in the tournament, player number 8, Menezes Valeska has been the best player in the Brazil team. Her promising receiving, blocking and attacking have facilitated the Brazil team to perform wonderfully. Nevertheless, big applause to Brazil and Germany.
