The day of Brazil
Brazil won against Russia scoring 3:0. Both teams did not perform up to their normal standard. Yet, Brazil managed to make less mistakes throughout the match. Also, Brazil's setter, Rodrigues Marcella, has a good grasp of the rhythm of the game and has worked as an excellent coordinator.
Although Russia tried to turn the situation over by using greater variety of strategies e.g. many remarkable quick attacks made by Belikova, their many mistakes made in receiving and spiking have resulted in their defeat.
