Head coach Marcelo R. Mendez: This was the last match of a long event and all the players were very tired, but I’m happy we were able to win the last one. This tournament ends today but I know the result will help us move up in the FIVB rankings and this will help for Olympic qualifying. Our final ranking will be around fifth, and so this result was good.

Captain Rafael Pascual: Today was the last day and we are satisfied with this result. Maybe we will finish fifth in the rankings and this helps us in the qualifying for the Olympics and help us with our effort in getting a good result. I’d like to thank the FIVB for the good decision of choosing Japan for hosting the event.

Tunisia

Head coach Antonio Giacobbe: Today we fought with the European champions. We lost again but I think we did our best. In my team, Kaabi is our best player so we depended on him today. We have to improve our team but I’m convinced Tunisia can convince with other countries.

Captain Ghazi Guidara: Today we could not play well early on but we could win one set and we are satisfied with the result. We’ve learned what we should improve when we go back to Tunisia. It was especially blocking and defense where we need to improve. We could evaluate our team during the World Cup.
