Brazil and Serbia &
Montenegro continue to set the pace
November
21, 2003, Hiroshima, Japan - World champions Brazil and Olympic
champions Serbia and Montenegro are the only two teams still
unbeaten on the completion of Round Two of the 2003 Men's World
Cup in Japan. The number one and two teams on the FIVB world
rankings and finalists in the 2003 World League had contrasting
victories, their fifth of the tournament, with Brazil
methodically putting Tunisia away 25-17, 25-16, 25-11 in Hamamatsu while a sleepy Serbia and Montenegro survived yet
another wake up call, dropping the first set before powering
past a brave Japanese side 21-25, 25-18, 25-22, 25-20 in front
of a packed crowd in the Hiroshima Green Arena.
