Ahmen Salah Eddine

Ahmen Salah Eddine is the youngest player in the Egyptian team having made his international debut only in October 2003 at the All Africa Games in Nigeria, where Egypt won gold.

The 19-year-old, who was in his country's squad for the 2003 Men's U-21 World Championship in Iran, started his international career with the U19 national team when they finished fourth at the 2001 World Championship in Cairo, which is considered the best ever result in his country's international history. He was the fourth best player in the competition.

He is certainly a talented player and one Egypt has earmarked for a bright international future. His selection as one of the best players at the 2002 U21 African Nation's Championship in Cairo, which Egypt won, is a clear indication of his potential.

With his local club Al-Ahly he won the Arab Cup of Clubs' Champions in Lebanon 2002, and has been a part of many of their recent successes.
