Cuba bounces back after losing first two sets
After losing the first to sets in the match against Bulgaria, Cuba finally won the semifinal match for the fifth till eight position with 3-2. The titleholder will now play for the fifth place of the World Championship against Korea, while the bronze medallist of the European Championship will play for the seventh place versus Brazil.

Korea joins top six of the world
Korea will play for the fifth place in the World Championship after a 3-2 victory over Olympic bronze medallist Brazil. In an equally balanced clash in front of 2,500 spectators in the Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle at Stuttgart the Asian squad had the better nerves and is among the best six teams in the world now.
