El Safi ( Egypt's Captain) : " It wasn't a succesful match. I think that today's experience is going to be useful for the future. This is a very young team and we have to think about the future. "
Ernardo Gomez (Venezuela's captain) : " We started the match performing well. If we compare today's match to yesterday's, we improved our level. We played very concentrated because we knew it was a very important match for us if we wanted to reach to reach the second round. I'm very happy with my team. I think we are going to be a great team in the future."
Press: " What are your expectations about tomorrow's match?"
Ernardo Gomez (Venezuela's captain) : " We are going to go to the court to look for the victory that's the only way to face such an important match."
H.A. Elwassimy ( Egypt's Head Coach): " The initial formation that I chose to play this match wasn't a succesful one. Many of our players were tired because of yesterday's match. Apart from that, the match was well controlled by the Venezuelan blockers, and that was a problem we couldn't solve."
José David Suarez (Venezuela, Coach): "We won an important match. We did not have enough previous knowledge reference our rival, so we have to think the match with what we saw yesterday during the USA- Egypt match. Our objective was to neutralize their blocking. We were very regular during the development of the match and that makes me very happy".
What do you need to improve for tomorrow's match?
José David Suarez (Venezuela, Coach): "Tomorrow, the team will have to play very well to win. We must analyze the rival and try to play our best; it will be a very difficult rival to beat."
Do you think that the fact that the USA played five sets while you played only three will influence tomorrow's match?
Jose David Suárez (Venezuela, Coach) "We will have to see if they have the capacity to recover. The USA is a very professional team and I think they will have no problem for tomorrow's game."
