Rome

Rome, the Eternal City, Capital of the Republic of Italy, was the Capital of the Roman Empire. Heart of Catholic Christianity, is the only city in the world hosting within it a foreign State, the enclave of the Vatican City: this is why it is often defined as the capital of two states.

Rome is the city with the highest concentration of historical and architectural landmarks in the world, and its historic center, bounded by the perimeter of the Aurelian walls, is an expression of the historical, artistic and cultural heritage of Europe and the Western world. In 1980, along with the Vatican and the Basilica of San Paolo fuori le mura, was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Palalottomatica

PalaLottomatica is the largest indoor event venue in the Capital City. It is a significant example of the Italian architecture, designed in 1956 by the engineer Pierluigi Nervi, assisted by Piacentini and others and built for the Olympic Games of 1960.

The renovation works have improved the acoustic performance, expanded the outdoor floor space (currently 20,000 square metres) and led to the construction of a wonderful 2,700 square metre terrace in the open space.

Roma PalaLottomatica is one of the Italian facilities members of the European Arenas Association, the Association representing the most important European arenas
