Great experience says Canada captain

Dominican captain Milagros Cruz: Our goal coming to Osaka was to make it to Tokyo. Unfortunately we couldn't do it. After playing in four world championships, this will likely be my last one.

Dominican coach Marcos Kwiek:
"Both teams know each other very well. We came back strongly. We will go home a little frustrated and begin working toward Olympic qualification."

Dominican captain Milagros Cruz:
"Our goal coming to Osaka was to make it to Tokyo. Unfortunately we couldn't do it. After playing in four world championships, this will likely be my last one."

Dominican player Prisilla Rivera:
"It was a close match. We can only get better as a team."

Dominican player Brenda Castillo:
"We had fun playing today. We exhibited concentration in winning the match."

Canada coach Arnd Ludwig:
"The turning point was at the end of the second set. We had a chance to take a 2-0 lead but didn't do it. I'm proud of my players, they improved a lot during this tournament."

Canada captain Tammy Louise Mahon:
"We started well. It was the same as yesterday. We didn't react well. This tournament was a great experience for us."

Canada player Lauren O'Reilly:
"We play well when we are passionate. We didn't adjust when they started playing better. We did improve every match here."
