A full team of 10 women serving the VIS during the Italy v Czech Republic match |
Hamamatsu, Japan, November 3, 2010 - Since its establishment, the Volleyball Information System (VIS) has become a great tool of information for all the game’s stakeholders: coaches, press, players, referees, TV etc. The system provides the statistical information about all the matches as well as the rankings at each stage of the competition. The system is also used to determine the individual prizes of the competition through an accurate skills evaluation.
But what’s new in Hamamatsu is that it was a full team of 10 women who conducted the VIS during the most exciting match so far of the 2010 Women’s World Championship in Japan, a thrilling victory for the Czech Republic over Italy 3-2. The numbers and statistics of that match were transmitted everywhere thanks to a team of women who were serving the sport of Volleyball from the heart and were happy to help towards the competition’s success in their country, Japan.
